Team collaboration
Teio is designed for teams, not individuals working in parallel. Every project is a shared space where members can contribute, communicate, and coordinate without leaving the platform. You can assign tasks to specific teammates, set due dates to establish accountability, and use labels and priority levels to signal what matters most. Within any task, you can leave comments to discuss the work, ask questions, or share updates. Use@mentions to bring a specific teammate into the conversation — they’ll receive a notification and can jump straight to the relevant task. Comments are threaded so discussions stay organized even on busy tasks.
Assignments make ownership explicit. When a task has a clear owner, there’s no ambiguity about who is responsible for moving it forward. You can also assign tasks to multiple people when shared ownership makes sense.
Real-time updates
When your team is spread across locations or time zones, staying aligned on what’s changed is critical. Teio syncs all changes live so that every member always sees the current state of any project or task they’re viewing. There’s no need to refresh the page or ask a teammate if they’ve saved their latest edits. Beyond live sync, Teio keeps you informed through two complementary mechanisms: Notifications alert you when something requires your attention — when you’re mentioned, assigned to a task, or when a task you’re following changes status. You can manage your notification preferences to control which events trigger alerts and how you receive them. Activity feeds give you a chronological record of everything that has happened in a project or task. Use the activity feed to catch up after time away, audit a change, or understand how a piece of work evolved over time.Activity feeds retain a full history of changes for every task in your workspace. No edits or status transitions are lost, so you always have a complete audit trail.
Integrations
Teio connects to the tools your team already relies on, so you don’t have to choose between the platforms you’ve invested in and the coordination benefits Teio provides. Integrations are configured at the workspace level by admins and are immediately available to all members once enabled. Common integration categories include:- Communication tools — Receive Teio notifications in your messaging platform of choice. Link tasks to conversations and bring updates to where your team already communicates.
- Developer tools — Connect your version control or CI/CD platform to automatically update task status when code is merged, a build passes, or a deployment succeeds.
- File storage — Attach files from your cloud storage provider directly to tasks without leaving Teio.
- Reporting and analytics — Push Teio data to your business intelligence or reporting tools for cross-platform visibility.
Flexible configuration
No two teams work exactly alike, and Teio doesn’t assume they do. You can configure projects to reflect your team’s real workflow rather than forcing your work into a generic template.- Statuses
- Custom fields
- Views
Every project has a set of statuses that represent the stages a task moves through. Teio provides sensible defaults — such as “To do”, “In progress”, and “Done” — but you can add, rename, reorder, or remove statuses to match your process exactly. Statuses can be categorized as not started, active, or complete, which powers filters and progress reporting across the product.
Can I apply the same configuration to multiple projects?
Can I apply the same configuration to multiple projects?
Yes. You can save a project configuration as a template and use it as the starting point for new projects. This is particularly useful for recurring work, such as monthly campaigns or sprint cycles, where the structure stays consistent but the tasks change.
Who can change project configuration?
Who can change project configuration?
Workspace admins and project owners can modify project settings, including statuses, custom fields, and views. Standard members can adjust their personal view settings — such as which columns are visible or how tasks are sorted — without affecting the shared project configuration.
